Upland Vineyard Tour ~ Cultivated in Tradition

Take a guided, air conditioned tour to numerous vineyard sites owned by Upland Vineyards within the Snipes Mountain AVA. At each stop (4 or 5), you will hear from a different Yakima Valley winemaker about what makes Upland Vineyard’s terroir and fruit unique. You will also get to taste wines in the vineyard from each of these winemakers so you can put what your hearing to your tastebuds.

Every stop will give you a different view of the surrounding valley and the grand finale’ will be from the top of Snipes Mountain where you will get a panoramic view of the gorgeous Yakima Valley.

Food will be provided by Frank Magana Catering.

Participating wineries: Maison Bleue (Jon Martinez), Smasne Cellars (Robert O. Smasne), Upland Estates (Todd Newhouse), Newhouse Family Vineyards and Thurston Wolfe.

Varieties covered will be Syrah, Grenache, Mouvedre, Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and more including Upland’s original 1917 Muscat of Alexandria and Sultana vines.

Tickets for each tour are $75 and include wine, food and a grower education tour. Saturday, July 21 1:00 – 4:00pm.
