Did you Sip N Click at Spring Barrel Tasting 2012?

This Sunday capped off another successful wine-filled weekend thanks to 40 wineries that participated in Wine Yakima Valley’s Spring Barrel Tasting. Those who attended took part in all the festivities from food and wine pairings, dancing to live bands, and relaxing with fun company.  We were thrilled to hear about the wonderful memories made and to see newly released local wines flying off the shelf!

Through our Sip N Click contest on Twitter and Facebook, many of our guests captured their favorite photos and submitted them for a chance to win. We are pleased to announce this year’s winner goes to Scott Frayo for his photo of Terra Blanca’s tasting room entrance, congrats!

If you couldn’t make it out to the valley this weekend, we’ve recapped the weekend with photos on our Facebook page, take a peek!

In anticipation of Spring Barrel Tasting weekend, Southard Winery, Gamache Vintners and Kiona Winery went on KVEW’s Good Morning Northwest to educate on the unique experience of visiting these wineries for the event and throughout the summer. Scott Williams from Kiona Vineyards & Winery unveiled new wines that were featured during Spring Barrel Tasting. These and other wines throughout the valley will be awaiting you on your summer visit to Yakima Valley!

Special thanks to those who joined us this weekend! We know schedules get busy and for those who couldn’t make it, remember to come and visit us anytime throughout the summer to experience the local wine culture for yourself!
